This is about being left in the dark, after a life of basically knowing something or someone you thought to be concrete. Like the pieces of your insides are torn and malfunctioning making you disabled, and ultimately crushed down to nothing...Yet you then find a strange sort of comfort in your blight and your pain... These scars we bear are what make us who we are, and as it turns out in the end, we are not broken at all. We are just never fixed or perfect in the first place....Anyone who has been used and abused by someone they love will know this feeling.

Also, this song was first hand a part of my second record " A Ghost In The Labyrinth", and plays a very important part in the story. This song is the part in the story in which the main character is experiencing the final moments of logical reasoning behind his experience with the woman he desires (who is symbiotically connected to his alternate personality, that wants to possess and destroy him)...Now REMIXED and properly mastered, it is a much more interactive experience.
